Dis & Hers
Dis & Hers started the way most great ideas do: somewhere between a turkey leg and a meltdown over Genie+. We’re Eric and Lauren Hersey – a theme park-obsessed husband-and-wife duo who’ve turned our years of planning, problem-solving, and people-pleasing into something useful for you.
We’ve walked the parks in every type of weather, stayed in budget hotels and deluxe resorts, conquered rope drop and late-night hours, and figured out how to actually enjoy a family vacation (yes, even with kids and strollers). After dozens of trips, far too many spreadsheets, and countless ride photos where someone’s blinking, we built Dis & Hers to share what we’ve learned.
Because the magic is real. But so are the crowds, the costs, and the confusion.
What You’ll Find Here:
• Real Touring Advice – Not the influencer version. No fluff. Just honest, practical tips that make your trip smoother, cheaper, and way more fun.
• Park Reviews & Hacks – Our take on the newest rides, lands, snacks, and shows – plus what’s worth skipping.
• Podcasts & Commentary – We talk Disney, Universal, and the ever-changing state of themed entertainment. It’s like standing in line with two friends who know way too much.
• Videos & B-Roll – For the planners, the creators, and the nostalgia junkies. We document it all.
• Trip Planning Help – We’re not travel agents, but we are Type A travelers with taste. You want a plan? We’ve got one.
Why Trust Us?
We’ve done this the hard way—so you don’t have to.
Eric is a web designer, content creator, and theme park analytics nerd. Lauren is the grounded half who remembers to pack the ponchos and book the dining. Together, we’re what happens when a little magic meets a lot of planning.
Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned passholder, we’re here to help you navigate the parks with confidence, humor, and maybe a few inside jokes.
Let’s Be Park Friends
We don’t just love theme parks. We love helping people love theme parks. So if you’re ready to laugh, learn, and maybe upgrade your vacation game—you’re in the right place.
