Quick Review of The Meliá Orlando Celebration

0

Are you looking for an affordable four star resort big enough for a family and close to the most magical place on earth without paying Disney prices?

Located just a stone’s throw away from Walt Disney World, The Meliá Orlando might just be perfect for your next family vacation.

Location

Let’s start with the location – the resort is located in Celebration, a charming town that looks like it’s straight out of a movie set. It seriously feels like you’re walking down Main Street USA at the Magic Kingdom. There are adorable shops, restaurants, and even a lake with a fountain!

Back to the Meliá. I can be a tough critic but as a mom with kids, this place checks most of my boxes.

Accommodations

First off, let’s talk about the accommodations. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for the whole family to spread out. Our family opts for a two bedroom, two bathroom suite. They also have deluxe rooms and one bedroom suites available as well.

The rooms are meticulously clean, with daily housekeeping. It’s SO nice to come back each day to a clean room and neatly made beds. The only downside is each bedroom in the two bedroom suites only have one king bed per room. Traveling with a 5th or 6th person,  no worries the rooms include a pull out bed.

The rooms also include a small coffee pot, dishwasher, two bottles of water each day, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion and a fully equipped kitchen. In the two bedroom, there are also three closets (one in the master and two in the second bedroom). Laundry and ice are located right off the elevator on the second floor.

Amenities

Now, let’s move on to the amenities! The Meliá Resort has everything you need for a family-friendly vacation. There’s a huge, round, zero entry pool that kind of looks like a donut (did I mention the resort is round?). The pool area includes basketball and volleyball nets in the pool with a small mini golf course and hot tub in the middle. There is also an adorable play area with tents and blocks by the pool to keep the kiddos busy.

While they’re splashing around, you can relax, soak up some sun and order some light bites and drinks from “The Wilson” without even leaving your beach chair. Bonus point for the Meliá for offering a complimentary happy hour daily.

The Wilson opened in October 2022. This restaurants got it start in New York.

Overall Thoughts on The Meliá

So there you have it, folks. The Meliá Resort in Celebration, Florida is the perfect spot for your next family vacation. With comfortable accommodations, plenty of amenities, and a prime location, you really can’t go wrong. Book your stay today and get ready for some fun
